Sound Design

Mindfulness campaign

As part of my Sound for Film and Video course, I completed a series of mindfulness videos. I played with concepts of how we perceive nature to sound vs how it sounds in reality, conducting foley sessions to bridge that gap. For example, we expect a duck flapping its feathers to make a sound, but in reality it makes almost no noise, so I created the sound myself through the foley technique. On the other hand, sometimes sound design is knowing when less is more, such as for the portion in which I allow the falling rain to do most of the work.
